    Surely the primary source of funding is not a club's fans, they are part of the product that is sold by to a TVs channel... No fans, no interest in the product...and whilst Charlton doesn't get a lot in the way of direct tv money it still benefits from it every time it sells a player...and the next source is the owner and his bank...it's why football should be cheap to go to, otherwise the owners are killing the golden goose..
