I'm feeling emotional right now. I'm 300 miles away in my flood damaged house and virtually unable to move because I've got a back injury....but half of me still thinks that I should have tried to be there today :(

A huge thank you to all you heroes standing out there in the rain and fighting for our club (and also a thank you to those helping in so many other ways). I am so proud of you all and OUR club.

I hope you're OK. Whereabouts are you? I'm 250 miles away in West Yorkshire and am gutted I couldn't be there today.

Brilliant everybody and especially Rick. Fantastic coverage from other teams' fans too. It has begun.
  • Managed to get a favourite from Stan Collymore on Twitter when asking for some publicity for the protesters. Also sent the request to a few Belgian sports journalists to hopefully get the word out in the clowns' own back yard.

well done Clem, this thing is getting bigger by the day.

Let's get these clowns out of our club.

This must be increasingly embarrassing for Katrien Meire when she's trying to host directors of other clubs.

    Awesome.

Glad I ended my self imposed exile to be there pre match and for the fantastic post match demonstrations. Just shows how much momentum can be generated when there is a common goal.

Have my 12 year old son with me so he can see the effect of a peaceful yet vocal protest first hand. He now 'gets it.' This is what being a Charlton customer is all about.

The groundswell of support and attention we are getting nationally is evidence that this is just the beginning of something potentially huge that will end in something happening. I don't know what yet but it is already too big to be ignored and will only get bigger.

Regarding the match the first half was fairly nondescript. The crowd supported the players fantastically. When we went down to ten it was almost as if the players thought what the hell and went for it.

Special mention for three academy boys. Solly was excellent, Cousins at his combative best and Harriott was great to watch.

One of the more memorable days I've had at the Valley in the last few years.

Well done to all involved in organising and supporting the protests.

With talks of posters etc , how about the advertising billboard just opposite ransom walk? Would be seen by a lot of fans as well as the public passing by/stopped at the traffic lights
