sorry if this has been posted before, but i emailed the football league, and got this reply:

The dates for the Semi Finals cannot be determined until the participating clubs are known (for information only - last season's semi-finals took place from the 11th to 19th May).

The dates for the Play-Off Finals are confirmed as follows -

Championship - Saturday 24th May 2008
League 1 - Sunday 25th May 2008
League 2 - Monday 26th May 2008

    Think Uefa have a cut off date for top two divisions to finish.
