    Hi all,

Listen on the train to work every Monday, the show is always enjoyable and managed to make me laugh!

This week I just ask please don't play any "highlights" not sure I can deal with listening to that again.

    My take on things.

It's just soo un-Charlton the way we are playing.

We have always been a team without huge amounts of talent. But full of grafters who care. We have had spirit that makes the team greater than the sum of the parts. Everyone from the top to the bottom of the club has brought into it and so we have always been a team that was tough to face.

We always had a manager who knew the league but also knew his limitations and those of his players. So we played to our strengths. We were well drilled and organised. A tough team to beat with a never say die attitude.

So as fans we could turn up every week no matter who we were playing and know the boys would put in a shift and we were always in with a shout of coming away with a point or more..

Just makes me so sad to see that all of this has gone. There is no spirit, no fight. We are a disorganised rabble and we roll over once we go one goal down. This is soo un-Charlton.

I don't (entirely) blame the players, but there are one or two individuals in that squad that need to take a long hard look in the mirror. I blame it on piss poor recruitment that doesn't take into account things like character or personality. And I blame consecutive w*** managers who can't set up a defense/team.

And those are just the issues on the footballing side.

I hope to God José can turn it round but it's gonna take a miracle.

Great show so far. Telling things as it is. Canters post above spot on.

    Scouting by video confirmation !

A decent football team needs a manager to pick players with character, who fit into the squad. Charlton being second bottom is a reflection of that flawed RD strategy. That's got to change. Doubt it will though, that's why RD has got to go. RD doesn't learn from mistakes or listen to advice that something in the masterplan is not working.

Last night's show is now available as a podcast.

Join Lewis Catt, Nathan Muller and I as we discuss the return of José Riga and the ensuing 6-0 defeat at Hull.

We hear from the man himself José Riga, read out your tweets and emails and I also read out a fantastic Charlton related poem written by @soapboxsam

Good work Louis, (Lewis and Nathan as well)

Thanks for the kind words in print and on the show.

Matt and i, now know the man behind the Words and Voice.
I made you joint MOM at Hull, along with Essex Al's Grandson Freddie the Mascot with 9 out of 10. Gave you extra point for being the only person who could pronounce the Serbian Guy's Name correctly,(my son Matt was struggling, and he has a Serbian Girlfriend !)

Plus after you interviewed Jose Riga, you sprinted to the station to catch our train, leaving Usain Bolt in your slipstream.
I have informed Jose and he said; bring your boots against Blackburn,
and he will put you on after 65 minutes for either Igor or Tony Watt who Will be blowing through their Arse by then.

We are Charlton till we die.

I do have an escape Clause in my CAFC Contract, but so far
no one is prepared to pay the 1k Fee.

    PS My older Brother, Michael White's Version of Valley Floyd Road;
A Melodic acapella rendition is on You tube, themichael3337

Give it a listen and increase the views from 1250 the last time i looked.
