Yeah, Nolly ...... good for Baby Bent. let's hope it kick starts his season for him, despite him now being a Spud.

Oi, Pards - get Benty on loan.

He must be the only one left that we haven't signed ;o)

i'd happily take getting stuffed 4-0 if it meant being tenth in the premiership and the odd victory over man utd or liverpool but that's my feeling... others may find this league exciting each to their own

Ouch! Letting in '12 goals on the spin', as Curbs would say ......

40 points in the bag, and then the beach towels come out.

interesting blog from the Guardian site
  • Good article.

Curbishley's time has come and gone. In fairness his time to go came at least 2 seasons before he went.

To have him back would be a huge mistake for both parties.

They won 2-1 and a kid came on and scored so that should shut up the Hammers fans. Would gladly swap our position with West Ham any day. One thing you knew about Curbs is when he put 11 players on the field they would give 110% or they were off. Can't say that about the 11 Pards puts out there.

West Ham about to announce the appointment of some Italian bloke as Technical Director.

Doesn't sound very Curbs-like to me...writing on the wall?

Yeah. The interview was just before they got trounced three times in a row.

Saw curbs on SSN today talking about the new appointment.I say talking,it was more like reading it from a script. His body language said to me that he had absolutely no say in the matter.

If you were fighting a relegation battle, who'd you like to play? A team who cannot be motivated once they have reached saftey I would say.
West Ham have lost 6/8 since they reached 40 points.

I hope you didn't have that bet Len!

Just watched MOTD, Curbs moaning that Refs don't give his team protection.
Alan Hansen reckons considering where WHU were this time last year and where they are now there is no prob. BUT, he did add that fans and owners may see it differently.
How mauch have they spent in the last 15 months? Their wage bill is massive so I hear.
