    I took two banners in and was happy to show them to the steward who wanted her supervisor to rule if they were acceptable - even though Mick Everett had already agreed they were. I then had to point out to her that I was willing to accept that but not wait ten minutes for the privilege as she had simply returned to searching middle aged women's handbags while clutching the banners. Got there in the end.

    A little tip next time Airman, don't start humming 'Get myself a proper job' :smiley:

    I'm not entirely sure how the museum will go about explaining the significance of Seb's flag to future generations 'well, there was this guy called Seb, absolute legend, used to do the worm, and err.....'

    Imagine we had a flag or banner from the 1930s.

    Would it matter who owned it (although it would add to the story greatly IMHO)?

    As it is we do know who owned it and it has a great story linked to Sebs 800 plus games

    I'm really, really pleased to have got it.

    Committed his time, funds and effort to following the club over the roller coaster 10+ years with no game being too far and no team being too small. Anyone who reguarly goes to Charlton games knows him, he is a character, who has been recognized as being committed to the club, by the club.

    Good on him for the donation, shame he had to get a replacement.
