To anyone who thinks the demonstrations aren't working, the signs are there that the regime are desperate to head them off at the pass. Look at this from yesterday, bar open after the game free entrance and free 'lite bites' whatever that might mean. I'm pretty sure they never used to offer anything like that before the demos. And don't forget that this was the bar that they thought they could get north-upper season ticket holders to pay expensive subscriptions to. Keep up the pressure, they definitely do not like it.

Like others ?
I wanted to see the Legends.
I wanted to have a winter warmer.
I wanted to watch the rugby.
I wanted some nibbles or a Pie.
But instead i Protested in the cold,
Because it was the right thing to do.
I'm a adult, so will discuss or argue will anyone to their face.
Or praise people to their face, like i did to Nug when i meet him for the 1st time Yesterday.
The struggle goes on.

When I walked down the stairs leaving the NU, I poked my head through a window and was sad to see it was in no way empty. Desperately wanted to see an empty room with a few ex players sitting there playing I Spy1

Wilma not sure where you sit but in the East stand there's one man who screams the whole match, half the time abusing players for missed passes then moans about the protests affecting the players.4

Most of the legends were in the Keith Peacock Suite having lunch before the match. Fortunately they weren't there to witness 'blindgate' afterwards!1

There's plenty of them unfortunately, they stand up cause they want them out & then troop down to bar at half time for a quick pint or two & then back up to stand up cause they want them out & then into crossbars after the game. What difference does it make they ask when I remonstrate, he's a billionaire, it won't make any difference to him :-) The fools just don't get it !!!forzajuve_27 said:

A few I speak to say they don't like the regime but ask what difference the protests will make as RD will do what he likes.0

Hand on heart, we DO go into Crossbars pre match for ONE drink only because we meet up with a group of friends, 2 of which are unable to walk far or at speed.
If they were able to get to & from The Oak or A N Other local hostelry before kick off, we would gladly pass up the OTT prices charged by DNC.
As it stands, Crossbars is our only option to meet said friends as we sit in differing areas of the ground and only socialise together on home matchdays.3 -

I admit I am one of the two FF refers to here. Those who have read my posts on the cancer related threads know I have had extensive cancer surgery and due to this my mobility is impaired. It is as much as I can manage to do the two and half hour journey each way, without walking up that bloody hill to find a pub that will be full to bursting, so I can't sit down. If giving Roly a few quid each fortnight protects my well being, I will continue to do so. I make no apologies for this to anyone on here or anywhere else. we go in Crossbars before the game as the kids like it and it's nice and warm and they get the run of the place while we watch the football....might just be me, but I think it's been busier in there the last few home games0

Went in there before the game saturday and it was absolutely packed. Lots wearing black and white scarfs too.0

Hope those that got their free pies checked the "best before date" as they were probably the pies they did not sell from the "boycott spending any money at the club" protest. Still spending the rest of the weekend throwing up will make a change for some.1
