Fulham 2 Charlton 1. A late rally is not enough to salvage anything from the game after a toothless 80 minutes for the Addicks.0

Never seen us beat Fulham away despite several visits (Loftus Road and Craven Cottage). Don't expect that to change on Saturday. McCormack nailed on to stick at least one past us which, lets be honest, will probably be enough.0

I remember going to Stanford Bridge and Parker making Dennis Wise look an old man; would love for Poyet to do the samePL54 said:

What's the latest on Igor?
With him think we can get at least a point. Without him not confident sadly...1 -

I'm mentally rehearsing "you're nothing special, we lose every week".5

3 months ago, he was Fatty Igor. Now after 1 goal against Rotherham he is our saviour again.kinveachyaddick said:What's the latest on Igor?

Need to see him on a long run of form until I am sure he is back.1 -
Igor has only really been fully fit for about three games this season though...DamoNorthStand said:

Think we'll lose again sadly, McCormack and Dembele could tear us a new arsehole. Even in Parker, Cairney and O'hara they have players who can dictate the play and we're very excellent at losing the midfield battle. Having said that, Fulham just lost to a poor Blackburn side 3-0 and defensively they're weak. If we score first the home crowd might turn slightly and we have a great chance of all three points.
Fulham 2-1 Charlton
McCormack (2), Tex for us.

Fulham have got Chris Baird on loan from Derby today. Didn't he used to play for them?0

We'll get smashed. 3-0.0

He did, but it doesn't seem like he's played regularly for a while now.altrinchamaddick said:Fulham have got Chris Baird on loan from Derby today. Didn't he used to play for them?
Stearman and Burn are their center backs, we need to find a way to get at them using pace. As much as Sonogo looked decent last week, we can't go with him and Mak up front, although I worry how Lookie would deal with their physicality.

Cousins Ba
JBG Mak Lookie
Bench: Pope, Sarr, Fox, Bergdich, Sonogo, Reza, Igor or JJ, whoever is fit(ter)
It would be surprisingly attacking, but I fancy Cousins and Poyet against Parker and O'Hara, and having Poyet as the anchor should allow Ba and Cousins to push forward, which both like to do but neither get to do much in a 4-4-2 without Kashi or Diarra there holding. JBG versus Garbutt should be a good battle, Garbutt is a proper player. I fancy Lookie if we can get him up against Jazz Richards and keep him away from the center halves.1 -
Sanogo, JJ out, Igor, Cousins doubtful, Young not fit enough, new team pleaseSDAddick said:

It sounds like Cousins will have a fitness test, I back him to pass. Also, I don't read Young the same way others do, "fitness levels are good but needing game time" doesn't necessarily rule him or Motta out for me.

I've got bad memories of craven cottage, certainly never seen us win there. There was a 2-1 defeat early in the 1999-00 season, what seems like a succession of 2-0/3-0 defeats around 2002-04 sort of time and the 4-0 fa cup defeat a few years ago. Also remember a horrendous miss by Bartlett and that twat scoring for them and putting a Zorro mask on for reasons unknown. Not massively confident I'll see my first cafc win there on Saturday either.ForeverAddickted said:Despite what I've written on the Preview, this match is the one remaining game that I'm not looking forward to as we've always looked terrible playing Fulham... Remember playing them in 1999 shortly after being Relegated, they werent long up from League One and we'd won our first matches at a canter, Fulham came to the Valley and we were awful, think we either lost 1-0 or scraped a win, am sure it was on Sky too

Don't we have to score to take the lead ?killerandflash said:We have a terrible record against Fulham but, they're barely any better than us,
I suspect that at home they'll be nervous, and the crowd edgy, especially with Bristol and MKD improving. If we can take the lead, the tension may get to the Fulham players1 -
I once stood on the terraces at Fulham in the 60's and watched Man Utd stuff them 4-0, Best scoring twice.
Hugely enjoyable, but can't compete with the memory of that Hales game.
"If you stop Hales you stop Charlton" said Supermac. That went well then.
Having missed most of the season so far due to illness, I have tickets for this and because I have been starved of my fix I am really looking forward to it.
I'll even go so far as to predict a score draw. (Hmmmm)

2-0 Fulham... Our centre of midfield is too weak, been the story all season.1
