might be a good idea if you either change the heading or put a comma in, as it currently reads as if the article is about a players views on a particular website & not his views on our current predicament.

Lol, was seriously thinking that as I was just asked for feedback on BBC Sport's new look website. Thought it was a bit random that Jacko would be commenting on it.

We've won about five trophies in our 110 year history (who can forget the People's Cup, what a time to be a Charlton fan) so the omens aren't great skipper.

Nice words let's see it in your performances

Those of us without a blind prejudice against JJ see it most games.

Don't think you can ever question his desire and commitment. Not his fault we have no-one else to lead the team when his form dips. Been written off many times by a few on here. He may be coming to the end of career but he's one of a very few that actually makes me still recognise that I'm supporting a Charlton team right now.

Precisely my thoughts about The Shareholder, disappointingly, unlike JJ, he quite obviously doesn't give a flying something or other and is happy to see us decline, rather than change his outlook/business model. He is everything that is wrong with our club...

JJ, on the other hand, puts it on the line virtually every time he dons the shirt (sadly, desire does not always provide the result, but at least he cares). He is the polar opposite of Uncle Roly.

I have a lot of love for JJ. The change when he came back in the team was immense.

He will be very difficult to replace when the time comes, not only for his play but more so his attitude and passion.

For some footballers, relegation may come as a big help. When coming to the end of a career and it being necessary to drop down a division in order to stay in a team, relegation does that for you and without the hassle of needing to uproot you and potentially your family and move up north or wherever it may be.

JJ gives it his all every game but in a realistic world relegation may actually do him a favour. The way Charlton are dropping JJ could be around for quite a few years yet.

The same can be said for many players who deep down inside know the football abilities they possess are more suited to league one than the championship.

    We're down.

I don't think JJ wants relegation....in fact he is one of the players we have that love the club and the fans.....except @colin1961 of course!!

Fact is relegation will prolong players like Solly and Jackson first team chances next season, when perhaps it would be the time to clear the decks and go with youth for the future ....

saying solly should go... now i know you're trolling. 8/10 for effort and keeping it up for so long 2/10 for achievement.

Are you fucking serious? I should flag you for this but it doesn't warrant the bollocks you talk. Flogging would be better...
