Im sure season ticket prices will be announced within the next couple of days:

Spoken to a few people 2 different opinions

We will reduce prices as we will want to keep as many bums on seats
we will increase prices due to lack of money coming into the club

What do you think

Option 3 - price freeze (or a very modest rise)

I reckon they'll increase the price, but with the promise of a free season ticket if we get promoted next season. If I was asked to part with another £50 for my season ticket next year, but was guaranteed that all of the extra revenue was being put towards bringing in a no nonsense, hard tackling midfielder, I wouldn't think twice.

I think the prices will fall as has been pointed out it is almost if not cheaper to buy on a game to game basis.

If price goes up then I will not re-new, a modest fall then maybe...otherwise game by game.

theres gonna be massive queues at ticket office before games by the sound of it
  • I will do it on a game by game basis and like NSS get a season ticket for the second half of the season if things are going well

They should freeze prices and keep the free season ticket offer for purchases/renewals by June - otherwise a lot of people will go match by match which will see a big drop in attendances.

An alternative would be to offer half-price ST plus free replica shirt if we get promoted - but the best way to keep the crowds up next season is to repeat last season's offer.

I am probably not going to renew and do what Valley McMoist will do. Pick and choose games. Bored of football at the moment and certainly couldn't spend another season listening to the wanker behind me without chinning him.

I would go with a price freeze (or v. small reduction) for ST's and a small increase in matchday ticket prices by a quid or two per match.

17,000 St holders this season will be lucky if they get 14,000 next season. Most will go on the game by game basis.

Have to say, leaving aside the quality of "entertainment" served up this year, I've been very disappointed by the fact that my season ticket has actually ended up costing me more than if I just turned up and paid on the day. It used to be the case that a seaso would get you four or five games "free" each year, but not this year!

What's all this bollocks about paying game by game - show your loyalty and get a season ticket. Otherwise, I can see us spiralling down towards the 3rd tier like the Southampton's, Coventry, AndLeicester.

Know exactly what you mean there - had a huge row with the old git behind me before Christmas, and at Loftus Road had some bore who found a "come in number 38, your time is up" joke about Lita endlessly amusing. He kept calling for Iwelumo to come on, probably so he could have someone else to slag off.

(Unless I'm the wanker behind you, that is...)
  • Cant see the price changing that much. Will renew anyway, my marriage will depend on it.;-)

As someone who takes his son, I'd accept a modest increase in mine and for kids to be given free STs but I know those without kids won't. I can see the club opting for a freeze, maybe tied in with early booking, can't see them sticking with a free ST next season if we go up.

I've already made the decision to renew, both me and junior, but Off_It's post about it costing more this season than turning up on the day is a bit disturbing. The club need to redress that balance and make it public knowledge they're doing so or that will hit sales. If it looks like they're not then I'll certainly be thinking again, unlike the last few seasons there have been no extra advantages whatsoever to being a ST holder, if there's no financial advantage then there's no incentive at all.

So as "we" have totaly under achieved how about Pards, Parky and 15 first teamers puting in £1,000. Sending out 30/50 free season tickets to some of the 17,000 who paid their wages and had to put up with this dross.

We all know it hasnt a cat in hells chance of happening.

maybe they need to know how many people were made redundant last year so they could keep their huge wages and inflated beliefs that they were any good.

Henry why dont go out in a blaze of glory and be the hero we all know you are by suggesting the players make a gesture other than the finger which they have been giving us all season ?

You cant make em pay Pete but what a gesture it would be. Still i know its pie in sky to think they give a sh**.
  • Thinking of just going to all the away games next season, and not the home, the record this season would suggest we get better results away from home,

    A hero? No thanks.

This is a set of players who didn't know we were meant to be getting free STs if we went up if Paddy and Gray were anything to go by at Bromley last month so I can't see it but if you want to get a petition or something similar going I'll sign it and get it passed on.

Asking players to make a gesture is pointless because people will say they only did it because they were asked.

Petition petition ! FFS !!!! Henry we all know Pard will wipe his arse on that. I was thinking more of the horses head in the bed type of request ?

Or how about to Thomas " play better you jumped wanna be gansta or ill take you to a f**king party that you will never forget" !

oh and danny Miles if you didnt wana play at Xmas you could have told us that pre the Hull game over a beer in the con club i could have kicked you in the gonads and then at least we would have had 11 people who were making an attempt to play (poor though it was).

yeah you got a point solid - but I've had an S/T for 20 years don't fecking tell me to show some loyalty. i've done that time for loyalty elsewhere now thanks.

I'll still go but probably only one game a month. This next 6 months is very important to me knowledge wise and really need knuckle down so will spend more time on that now the light at the end of the tunnel is nigh.
