I feel very angry these C*unts were in a position to have their mits on our club in the 1st place. Its just awful.

Above all the awful transfers, the insulting comments, sacking Powell, the clown managers, getting us near enough relegated - Thinking about the sale of Yann leaves me absolutely fuming.
Powell found us a player, for free, that was more skilful than everyone else, better in the air, worked harder than anyone, and cared just as much as the fans.
These clueless pricks got rid of him for basically fuck all.

Still much man love for SuperYann who was pilloried by some on here over the circumstances surrounding his move to Bournemouth. I never bought into that stuff because there's always two sides to a story and he saw straight through the Douchbag. Two years on I still don't blame him one iota for moving on, he was well out of it and has made his family more financially secure in the twilight of his career, good luck to you fella.

Anyone who still believes that rubbish about Yann holding the club to ransom and forcing us to sell, consider 3 things:
1. The club is run by complete fuckwits, who have perpetually lied for the last two years, and forced out pretty much every strong character in the building.
2. Not sure if I mentioned, but the club is run by total fuckwits, who have no idea whatsoever when it comes to player ability or value.
2. If Naby Sarr is worth (allegedly) £1.5m, then Yann is worth 10m and they should have paid him accordingly. The stupid fuckwits.

I'd love to know what was said in that meeting. On the one hand, I could see it being "we're going to offer you 18 months on the same wages because that's how we deal with players over 30." That would be frustrating, given Yann's history with the club, his quality, and the fact that he's really come in to his own later in his career, but a policy like that would at least be within the realms of comprehension, and clubs like United, Newcastle, and Arsenal have/had similar policies.
It also could have been something completely incomprehensible that I can't even begin to imagine...0 -

I am still impressed/perplexed that Stephens has been a first team regular in a promotion chasing side, especially one that plays with a central midfield two.
