That's because Riga has said that Solly, JJ, Igor, Kashi and Baur are all out

I'd stick with 5 at the back especially away from home, so my only difference would be Motta in and Bergditch to the bench.

I have longstanding form of not getting these right, so I've made up for it by suggesting just about every formation we've played in the last couple months. I think he'll look at trying to replicate the second half team against Reading.

4-4-2 (could see this becoming a midfield diamond, with Cousins on the right and Bergdich on the left in the "shuttling," or "tornante" roles):

Alternative, could see sticking with 3-5-2 and putting Diarra in RoJo's place, meaning you have a good leader lacking in pace at the back, but one who is not rubbish and can control and pass the ball--maybe even playing a bit of an old fashion sweeper role, stepping into midfield in possession, dropping into defense when defending!!! (I got far too excited at the thought of this).

I just don't think he thinks Poyet is quite up to it. I do have my doubts about him in a central midfield two in a 4-4-2. When he was here last, he definitely benefited from having Cousins and Jacko in front of him, or playing at the base of a midfield diamond.
