One of the most bizarre things about this season. Probably our two best signings of the summer and they've mysteriously disappeared since picking up small knocks.

    Not good legs though.

    I'd prefer a healthy spine. :- )

    And Solly. And now, Henderson...

Henderson asked to be excused today as his wife wanted him to go to Bluewater with her. Henderson said he wouldn't be missed and so Riga agreed as he couldn't come up with a defence ....

Kashi looked fantastic at the start of the season, really odd we never hear anything about his recovery. I though bauer was a few weeks away when we were at colchester?

Kashi and Bauer are both currently on the Syrian/Turkish border manning a refugee aid station

I reckon something else has gone on with Bauer.. maybe another fall out behind the scenes! It's certainly very weird how our players suddenly dissappear without a trace..

I thought Bauer was doubtful for the rest of the season when he got his injury....especially given what skills we seem to have at bringing players back from injury faster than expected.

Kashi had an operation and will be out for the rest of the season.

Bauer also had a op, in January, but not date was set for a return

Bauer posted on twitter a couple weeks back that he was back to running on grass. Took a picture of football boots. Hasn't returned to full training from what I can tell.

As Henry mentioned above, when Kashi had the operation on his achilles that was him done for the season. He picked up the injury right before the Fulham match. Originally they tried treating it with rest, no surgery, but that didn't seem to work. I've had problems with my Achilles', I've been lucky to avoid surgery to this point but they tend to be nasty, tricky injuries. Whenever you can avoid surgery, it's best, but if the problem isn't healing on it's own, you don't have a choice, rubbish luck.

As for Igor, he's had groin and achilles injuries. I have a couple mates who've had groin injuries and it's much the same. Can flare up at any time and they're difficult to predict and treat. When he originally missed the Bristol City match, we were told he'd hurt his groin but not in the same place that kept him out at the start of the year. He's been "close" for a couple matches since then, but nothing new on him in at least a couple weeks.

Diarra going off presents a new concern. It should be noted that he's struggled with injuries throughout his entire career, which makes the decision to go into the season with just him, Bauer, and Sarr even more bizarre.

They will be fully fit by the end of may, when they can get new clubs and distance themselves from this mess of a club.

Katrien's just inked a deal to shoot the new season of Special Victims Unit at the Valley next season.

    Break even. Break everything.

The Reading programme said "Ahmed Kashi is at week 10 of his 12-week surgeon protocol. (Whatever one of those is). He's desperate to get his boots on and be back outside, but we're being cautious with him....Bauer has been running outside...he's working hard and we'll look to get him back in the training group in the next week or so."
So, Kashi should be on week 11 and Bauer may now be back training.
Meanwhile Mrs cafc's protocol indicates that I'm off to Tesco this morning.

Good to see the comms manager release it across all forms of available media.

Also note that I made comment to the OS PL54 and not the matchday programme. I will let you off though as it's early in the week and your trollmobile has yet to warm up
