    3-1.

Did the table/result predictor thing and we ended on 61 points finishing comfortable 12th.

    Lol,

If the Football League carried our points over we would not see 61 until Christmas 2017

things will be going well. 1 nil up by half time.

10mins into second half, after a hefty challenge on the wing by Motta, Karl Robinson jumps up and shouts at the ref to get the Italian sent off. Motta doesn't appreciate Karl's input, so he throws himself head first like a torpedo into Robinsons mid rift knocking the Milton Keynes manger to the floor. the Charlton bench are slow to react (no surprise there) so Motta is able to get a few kicks in before the Charlton coaching staff can pull the Italian defender away.

we go on to lose 2-1.

    good point

we probably should kick at the jimmy seed second half this time

1-1. We will take the lead early in the second half, concede around the 75 minute mark and then miss at least one gilt-edged chance to win it late on.
  • more of the same tonight can see us nicking it 2-1

This is the game that we will look back at, and say this is where we stayed up.

    4-2 Charlton.

Gonna arrive super early to Charlton. Anything I can busy myself with? Charlton house open? Museum open?
  • They're a weak League One squad.

However - lots of young England U16 and U19 types who've been released by Premiership clubs - so fit, plenty of running around and tackles.

We ought to win this, but narrowly, 2-1.

Without doubt a 'must win' game. Dons will park the Coach and start time-wasting from the first minute, and I am expecting a very frustrating evening. With far more hope than anticipation, 1-0 to the Addicts.

Well Pope is due to let one in under his belly and we'll concede at least one from a corner so we need to score at least 3.
Oh.,.. And I put us in my acca so abandon all hope.... We're fucked!

think peeps are being a bit over optimistic. On Saturday we narrowly beat a team now bottom of the current form table, a table we are currently third from bottom of, previously bottom, and we are playing a team mid table in the form table, a team who have never won at The Valley.

MK Dons is, I think, the team we need to chase down. So basically tonight is win or bust. But even if we do win, it is still going to be tough. So I am looking for evidence that the team is growing, with the new additions, into a side that can go on the sort of run that it needs to. To go on such a run, you need to be above luck – as it can both work for you or against you. We could have lost on Saturday for instance – we won, but we won’t win the number of games we need to if we don’t improve. There are lots of questions to answer about the defence- what if we get more midfield injuries etc…

So if we have a lucky close run victory tonight, I think we may just be delaying the inevitable. But if we have an excellent convincing performance to go with the points, maybe something will be on. Being a Charlton fan, whilst accepting the possibility, my expectation levels are quite low. I think tonight will be close and probably end in a draw

It all depends on how the defence holds up & the central midfield quality.

The players have a big decision to make tonight. We're either 4 points from saftey, or we're 10 points from saftey.

I'd normally criticise anyone for being overdramatic, but tonight's game is our season.
  • Lucky omen.
Was here in France when we beat Q.P.R. and Hull.
Was here in France when we beat Hull.
Was here in France on Saturday when we beat Brentford.
Still here in France and we will beat Mk Dons. 2-0

A GD deficit of 16 against MKD is effectively another point. Beat them tonight 5-0 and we can reduce it to 6
  • I have a bit of a dilemma Muttley.
I've waited until the match is over before obtaining the result on my computer.
But tonight I can listen to the game on player.
Do I break the winning habit or wait until the end?
Not sure I can stand the tension of what could be the defining game of this terrible season.

    JBG
    Sanogo Harriott

One of the new guys gets a goal, I'm going for a Teixeria header, and Big Mak comes on late and scores the winner, 2-1 win

I like your second choice, but if Dons have come for a point maybe big Mac and Sonogo up front and Harriott replacing Gudders.

The only way we're staying up is if we win this.

I should be feeling nervous as it's a game that carries such huge importance. Instead I just feel indifference. I'm sure this will change if we're winning with five minutes to go.

A scraped 2-1 win to prolong the hope that we might stay up.

would love to be there for this VITAL game .. sitting at home doing some admin work .. but can't concentrate, 3 and 1/2 hours to kick off and my head's buzzing and I'm tingling all over .. come on you Addicks ..

there's been a big recent improvement with Motta .. Teixiera, Fanni, Harriott and Sanogo brought in .. I am not an especially religious man but I am near praying that it's still just not toooooo late to get the results needed to stay in this division ..
Our Father who art in heaven please give us this day three vital points
