    I seem to be able to kill any thread that I post on, but I thought this might be of interest on this topic, particularly given the clubs that are discussed. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment is enormous, and is reaping the rewards of Toronto FC's successful (off the pitch at least) MLS debut season, and I would think they certainly have the resources to allow a considerable investment in an English club. I don't know if fans would be friendly to Canadian ownership than American? ;-)
