So let me get this straight.
They bought the lease for £76k a couple of years ago.
Spent the next couple of years taking the pub backwards
And now want £180k for the lease.
Have i understood that correctly ?0 -
yes me old sweet. The reasoning behind this is that now it is "double" the size it will take double the money... righto.
I finally got my mitts on a copy of our football focus episode friday and i felt sad looking at how cosy and warm the pub looked in the background. pub has been wrecked.0 -

You wouldnt have to pay the bar staff off. Unlikely they have worked there for two years and even then you would be talking 2 weeks dosh at most.
New names for the RO when Tavern buys it ? well of course we could call it the Tavern which is a bit obvious or how about The Head Lock Arms ? or The Bs Mob Arms ?0 -
Do you know something i dont GH? Im getting nervous here.0

Sorry B was supposed to be a surprise for your birthday Tav was gona buy it for you and we were all going down there to wrap it up in birthday pressie paper but he couldnt find a big enough ribbon !
I still think if someone wanted to run a boozer you could go to the owners of the Doom and Gloom they aint gona develop that place into flates for at least 3/4 years now the property price has fallen. So tell they you will take the place off em for small rent plus all rates bills etc.0 -
Defected from the Oak to the Liberal club for the last two home games. Wolves - nice atmosphere, both sets of fans getting on ok. Southampton - all seemed well until mini riot broke out, which quite amazed us. I take it this is not the norm!0
