We all make mistakes

Young lad next door is doing his GCSEs and wanted to laminate some original manuscripts for keeping as they weren't stored electronically. My wife offered to lend him our machine which we’ve hardly ever used and he came and collected it from her. A few hours later his dad was on the phone to say his son was inconsolable, although trying hard not to laugh down the phone. The lad had put the paper into the machine and watched in horror as it came out in little shreds – my wife had loaned him the business end of our home shredding machine.
