Total boycott for me, starting with the humiliating Burnley game. Think I'll chuck my season ticket on towards the end of the Brighton game and call it a day.0

Ok we are down; we have been for a long while and we need to get rid of a lot of players. That they are inept at doing this means that only Riga holds the key for next season's team. He is on an 18 month contract and I personally believe he can get us back up IF he is allowed the players to do so. That he has got a relatively good points tally since being here is a good sign BUT he has continued with reza and makienok which isn't. He really has to get rid of 2/3 of the team and keep the one's who have come through the academy, where possible, as well as texeira, bauer, diarra, Jackson, and gudmundson (although I doubt very much if any foreigner will stay). It's all a big shame and saddening but hey no-one has died and life goes on and being a die-hard Charlton fan I WILL DEFINITELY BE BUYING MY SEASON TICKET SOON AND ATTENDING AND SUPPORTING ANY PROTEST AT THE SAME TIME. Long live Charlton Athletic.11

Well that is that, hopefully more people will join a boycott now it is all over.
Every penny that goes to the regime helps the regime, no season tickets, no matchday tickets, no food, no drink & no merch, cut them off, it might not be easy but if we want our club back then stand up to them in a meaningful way before we find ourselves in the fourth tier for the first time in our history.3 -
What we need next season is to club together to buy just one season ticket, give it to a big bloke and get him to open the gate at which point we all rush in for free. Every game. Different gate. That way we still get to go to games, but don't give them a penny.10

It's not as simple as 'buying tickets is supporting him' - everyone who brought mayhem against Middlesbrough had at some point bought tickets for that game, were they supporting him!?
In order to embarrass this wanker you need to be in attendance. He doesn't get riled by poor ticket sales - he gets ruled by his reputation being embarrassed publicly.
"Poor attendance at relegated Charlton game" isn't exactly going to raise eyebrows is it

I disagree Tom, he will happily ride out the embarrassment of us mere mortals not understanding his visionary views.
What does he care about the media hating him, as it seems like they had a negative view of him in Belgium before we had even heard of him.
Ten thousand Charlton fans saying you won't get another penny from us, combined with the loss of income from relegation and sponsorship, will bring his experiment crashing down when he quickly realises any idea of even getting close to break even or an English club being anything but a drain on his cash is a pipe dream under his philosophy.
People have had an excuse this season as many had already paid for their season tickets but any cash going to the club in the future is just prolonging his stay and the demise of our once great club, make a real stand.4 -
Gretna - the most high profile moment of our protests to date were the Sky game against Boro. Two days later came Roland's angry statement, he was riled big time.
He can make up losses on tickets by selling players or spending less. But he can't repair damage that is out of his hands such as the impact of the protests!0 -
We will have to agree to disagree Tom, he may lash out at us peasants when we do something naughty but I don't believe a few media headlines(that will quickly dry up once we are in League 1) will make him sell, as he only cares about the balance sheet, his vision for how a club should and can be run.

We should organise a PROTEST DAY game next season for all those fans boycotting their season tickets. Stay away fans are asked to come back for one pre-arranged home game and raise merry hell to show the regime how much they are still ruining this beloved club.
We can use this to cause major disruption... beach balls, stress balls, whistles, drones, banners or whatever to get the media's attention.
Catch the club off guard and show them we still care about this club even though they are intent on ruining it.6 -

What is he refund policy on tickets (is there one)?
If so, buy tickets then get a refund at the very last possible moment.

I have had a think about it, slept on it, and considered the implications and the overall picture.
If you renew your season ticket, it's like going on a march against government health cuts, and then voting for them anyway.
The idea of buying a ticket for an individual match and showing discontent such as suggested by JorgeC is an excellent one. If you are within a reasonable distance, turning up just for the protest is showing support for CARD but not the regime.
"Easy for you to say 1000 miles away" - True, but those that know me will also know that I would be taking this action if I were there.
