Would like it to be THD but sounds as if he may be off!

Depends on which one is sold by RD.2
-
Fox as first choice Left-Back... Holmes-Dennis as first choice Left-Midfield.
The former needs protection and Tarieq with his experience in Defence will be able to provide that, whilst I also think he's better going forward anyway... Use Archie Edwards as backup to Morgan Fox next season2 -

Neither of them will be here next season which is great news as regards one of them but not so good about the other2

Doing a League 1 scouting mission at Southend tonight, so will report on THD's form for Oldham.3

As my POTY I do hope Fox is still here.9

I do too. Fox gets my vote.2

Fox is good enough for League One and I see a decent player in him. THD will be sold if they can find a buyer.2
-
Fox is a better LB at the moment, THD has more potential but that doesn't mean that he will necessarily become a better all round player2

Thd and someone new as back up1

THD is only 20 at the moment. At that age few players are regulars at Championship level, so it's hardly outrageous that he hasn't played regularly this season1

Fox with THD as back up.

Fox has done what he did last season, which is start turning in solid, effective performances towards the end of the season. The same thing has happened both this time and the time before; Fox has been the beneficiary of a settled, decent defence and on most occasions had a decent left midfielder who can help him out ahead of him. Last season we brought in Johnson who provided some stability, and then started putting Gomez in more alongside Ben Haim. This helped Fox as he had some sensible players alongside him and no more Bikey messing up and shrieking at everyone else to deflect. Fox also had Bulot ahead of him who knew when to track back and support. This season, even though our results haven't improved dramatically, defensively we've been less terrible, and we've had a consistent centre half pairing of Teixeira and Fanni. Yun has also provided Fox with decent cover when he's played ahead of him.
Fox has such fragile confidence, and I think he suffers more than anyone else from an unbalanced and leaderless squad. He started the season so confident - could you imagine him trying the shot he did to score against QPR at any other point in this season? - and then fell apart when the injuries struck and the bullshit started up again. If, and this is an astronomic if, we can start the season for once with a settled team and some actual cover in every position I think Fox would be a great asset. He's got three seasons' Championship experience and he'll hardly be coming up against some of the wingers he's had to deal with this season. Just have to keep his chin up.8 -

Nothing personal, and I have to admire him for not hiding despite the abuse. But please, Fox will never be a credible left back. Centre Back cover maybe.7

I agree that he will never be a credible LB but on that principle what would make him anywhere near good enough for even covering as CB?GustavMailer said:Nothing personal, and I have to admire him for not hiding despite the abuse. Far too scrawny to play at center half. Positional awareness is completely none existent at times. You can almost get away with that when playing as a full back as you have CB's or occasionally even holding midfielders to cover for you, but you cannot have that attribute at CB it would prove to costly.
Furthermore Morgan is not powerful enough aerially.
What I find more scary than that image of Fox wearing the captains armband?..... him up against some of the bulldozer center forwards knocking about in league one.0 -

Forget about Fox. He's off to Man Utd.5

THD has more potential in the long run.
Fox is a good League One LB, can't see much more for him.2 -
THD, Fox to CB because he hasn't got the pace or ability to create much going forward which is a must for the modern fullback.2
