again it's a good draw at a ground we never do well at .... But it's not enough tonight but even with a win we were still down ... There as been an improvement over the past month or so mainly due to getting a settled side ....injuries have wreaked our season

It's not a good draw. It's a draw against a side in meltdown who had ONE point from their last nine matches!

And please not the 'but for injuries' argument again. We have not been good enough, end of. The slight improvement has produced five points from our last six matches.

Shows how crap we are that we barely muster an attempt on goal vs Bolton.

    Relegation deserved.

Yes - if Johnnie Jackson had been fit for more games, his goals from midfield would have grabbed us a few more points.

When I was at school, I witnessed someone almost knocking themselves out going for a big slog in a cricket match. Instead he smacked himself on the head and fell onto the stumps - requiring stitches on his arse.

The most ridiculous thing I have ever seen which I thought would remain undefeated.

Your post has just beaten this Colin.

I'm not sure what the equivalent of wasting your breath is on a forum, but good on you @mogodonman - 10/10 for effort.

Reminds me of the old Monty Python stupid Olympics sketch when the winner shoots himself.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's gone before the end of the season.

@colin1961 Those rose tinted glasses are well and truly smashed. RD had the power and money to do something about this, but instead of listening to advice he chose his own path, he bought Jonno - not in the squad, he loaned Poyet - not in the squad, he bought Sarr (£4m) not in the squad, he appointed Fraye - enough said, he bought Ba - on the bench, he hired Celabos (sp) - injured forever and now in the U21's and will be leaving in the summer, he employed inexperienced Championship managers, and finally lost/removed very good backroom staff, please for the sake of god understand please!!!

No, injuries are to be expected, even in a well managed club. Under the current regime, we are not that. The squad was paper thin in crucial areas.

The recruitment policy of both players and coaching staff (to speak of the selection of the CEO as recruitment is heresy) was piss-poor. Even where players were reasonably talented, there was a reason why they were purchased - they were mostly cheap what with being injury prone.

You do not build a successful football team on a spine of unproven players.

The Duchatelet Way was wrecked (not wreaked) our season, and our club. I can take being poor and getting relegated, what I cannot abide is the way that they are seeking to load debt onto our club, completely ignore our history and treat us in they way that they do.

Anyone who defends this regime is either deluded, and in need of significant medical assistance, or deliberately provocative...

You can have a small squad, but they've got to be battle hardened players, used to the slog of a Championship season. The (almost) legendary 91/92 squad under Gritt and Curbs was tiny, but full of talent, determination and character

Leicester in the PL have hardly had any injuries, a combination of luck and the right sort of players

It would be a defence marshalled by Ro-Jo and Sarr, backed up by Thuram.

Really fancy Burnley to turn Boro over tonight. I just cannot see Dyche messing up a crucial game. Top, top manager.

Absolute agree re Dyche - top manager. If they don't go up I can see a Premiership club calling. Maybe even go to Villa.</.

Sad but relegation has been inevitable for some time now, and I fear that if we can't get these Belgian idiots out it will get worse, possibly much worse before it gets better.

I thought we still had a chance of w turned the goal difference around. I mean really relegated but not techically. I haven't done the sums though, am currently coping with having the news that my ACL is completely gone to bits and need surgery on it. Not sure that's right and nor am I sure that if we scored loads of goals and won every game with everyone else losing we would go down.

Of course we are going down, that wasn't what I was saying

    Sorry feeling very tetchy.

Am going to take the go to bed you Arse wake up in the morning and reasess medicine.

I need to decide if I can do any more match threads whilst this incumbent owner stays in charge...I'll be back for the final few games and hopefully next season
