Arrests

Saw someone being bundled into a police van on my way to the west stand. So there was at least one arrest at the game. Anyone know of anymore, what the arrests were actually for and whether we should give any help?
Apart from the flare I can't see that anything else happened that would justify an arrest.

Young lad at the front of North Lower got pulled out and led away, could be him!
  • I overheard someone explaining to their mum(!) on the phone that she had been thrown out and had had their details and mugshot taken by the police...for throwing a waterbomb on the pitch. I suspect it won't see a crown court trial.

Difficult to volley a water bomb on the pitch to be fair. What nonsense.

If it's a hard potentially damaging item, fair enough. No need to caution people for bog roll, water balloons, air balloons, season tickets etc

A Brighton fan was dragged out after getting too excited following the penalty. May have been him.

  • Can someone post the Monty Python sketch of the arrest for walking in the cracks of the pavement? Similar misdemeanor.
