Had to miss it today as my daughter plays on Sundays. They lost 2-0 away at Ramsgate if anyone is interested!
Mind you I'm pleased it finished on a bit of a high and that the great Sir Chris appears to have got the excellent salute he deserves. I'd love to have seen him leap out of that tunnel one more time!
Sounds like the youngsters did their stuff and Jonjo in particular seems a real prospect. I just hope they remember he is only 16 and don't expect too much too soon.

Sorry you missed it Len. The performance was good with a great deal of promise for next season. The second goal was sublime with 20+ passes, a back heal from Varney to set up Gray. The ending with Sir Chris and his goal was just a special special moment. Even better for my lad was he got Nicky Weaver to autograph his picture in the programme. Great day out - wish the season was starting next week!! Ho hum!! - Still there's Cricket to watch and some football tournament which I might glance at occasionally.0
