This is good news. And let's keep giving them something to investigate. Let's get this vermin out of our club.
  • An FA investigation you say? We'll that's that then guys, pack away the banners, put down the balloon pump.

Can't grumble really, we've had a good run for our money but now with this frightening development things have gone too far and we have to think of the impact on the FA too.

An FA crowd control officer. I want a job like that! Especially one that you can bugger off at half time.

The FA should make us play behind closed doors until the cause of the trouble has gone. If they take no action it is a clear sign that they support the action we are taking and want us to ramp it up at our next home game for the good of the game.

I don't get why he leaves at half time.

He then misses the flare and the siege of the directors box.

His boss should be asking why he didn't do his job to the end.

The wider point is that while normally most of us would not want an investigation or fines now it is just more work and more pressure for the board.

Perhaps instead of leaving at half time he merely moved seats?

Perhaps itsmyball was asking too many questions and distracting the FA official from doing his job properly.

Perhaps he wanted a different viewpoint on the protests.

Perhaps he wangled his way into the directors box.

Perhaps he wasn't the only officer there.

    Perhaps, Perhaps, P'raps

The way we're playing football at the moment I don't blame him for leaving at half time.

Imagine the impact if they don't allow us to enter the FA cup????? What we going to complain about in the weekend we were meant to be dumped out the FA cup by Kidderminster Harriers?

Let's just hope they do a thorough investigation into the reasons why !!! A song for NightMeire and Rat Man ... They're coming for you, They're coming for you, They're coming for you ... The Football Assocation, is coming for you
  • Why not take the protests on the road, like outside the fa's offices.

When it comes to investigating the running of the club i'm reminded of what was frequently chanted at Brighton during the Goldstone debacle: "F**K ALL, THE FA'S DONE F**K ALL, THE FA'S DONE F**K ALL......"

Don't get your hopes up. The FA are as inept now as they were back then.

Yes. Let's do it in FA Cup Final day outside its offices in Wembley and while we are at it invade the pitch and get the final abandoned

I was sitting next to the guy from the FA .
He said there was nothing they could do about the balloons and beach balls .but he was concerned when the pumps were thrown on to the pitch .
He also did mention how well funded card is and it is getting great legal advice .
In all he seemed to be impressed with how organised the protests were .
    His words .
He was also not there in the second half

Can't wait for the joint FA/Football League/Charlton statement that this, in turn, debunks. Just like the Met/CAFC one and then CARD!

And maybe at half time he wanted a Pie and Pint, just not from Tony Ballbags, I mean Delaware North.

Any threats the league impose gives us more leverage surely! It would mean that we wouldn’t need to do an on pitch protest at the last game – which might lose us some support if it affects the promotion battle – but we can tell the club we intend to do more next season if they don’t sell. They will be aware what a mess this will be for them.

The FA don't give a toss about the fans and will end up hammering the club the same way they did to Luton which will help us on the way to the Conference. Even then knowing our luck RD will still be in charge and Karel will return with Naby Sarr as team captain.

Shows how shit the match was - even someone who was paid to be there couldn't sit through all of it.

But surely the threat could be used as a deterrent without hopefully, us having to use it. If further delays will mean dropped points, it gives us massive power over the owner. They will already be aware that it would be difficult to stop us protesting in this way. We could issue a statement saying that we will regrettably use this power before the end of November say and at planned games thereafter to make the club not viable to own if y and z doesn’t happen by x. If we were challenging at the top of the league it might be difficult for us, or likewise if we were struggling, but hopefully we wouldn’t have to use this power, just threaten it. We would need to have the resolve though – maybe get a mandate through a vote (CAST style survey). Surely this is the next stage and it is in the interests of the owner to avoid getting there. We need them to see it is impossible for them to continue. Ideally this message would be given to them privately rather than publically by CARD to avoid making selling more complicated.

The problem is we're having a staring competition with a man staring off into space seemingly not caring that he's in a staring competition.

I'm not surprised tbh, the league make a big thing about games ending at the same time, ours of late for some reason always seem to end a bit late ;-)

Not sure there is much they can really do bar play behind closed doors which won't happen.

Maybe kick off will be 15 minutes earlier for us? They can always take longer at half time eating oranges if they wish.

They may fine the club if it is delayed but that doesn't really help what they are concerned about.

    Fixed that for you.

Oh, I hope they do choose our game because at least there will be entertainment on the pitch for Sky viewers! Probably not football but gripping entertainment and good family fun.
