    Won't be involved in transfers according to their spokesman

    Bullshit. Even if it's not in his official duties, he'll still be tapping up whoever is in charge of transfers on a daily basis - he'll have "heard a whisper" about a cracking little player that's available on the cheap, Derby will ending signing some random bloke who looks like he's been coached from birth by Karel Fraeye, 'Arry will coincidentally turn up to work the next day in a new Ferrari.

    I'm friends with Prince Ali and wanted him to take over from Sepp Blatter. He asked me if I'd manage the team for a couple of matches, and I agreed.

  • I mentioned last month that my middle son interviewed Matty Holmes last year which totally contradicted Redknapp's jaundiced view of the way the player was treated by Charlton. The following is an extract from that interview;

    To this day Matty Holmes has never received an apology from Kevin Muscat for the tackle.

    “Charlton all the way through were brilliant as well. They backed me in the court case, which I didn’t even think about at the time.

    “Not until in the Hospital when I had my first operation. The chairman and Alan Curbishley came and left with me with the DVD and said I should have a look at the tackle. So I was in bed looking at the tackle and thought ‘Jesus he’s absolutely done me there’. Charlton were the ones who said to me about the court case. I never thought about that in a million years but they backed me all the way on that as well.”

    Now joining the Central Coast Mariners as a Football Consultant. Presumably he will still be involved at Derby too but a man of his limitless desire for money altruistic causes should surely be in line for a Nobel Prize sooner rather than later.

    I have no clue why anyone listens to this jowly-faced crook. Be it his pointless column in The Standard, the Derby board or the Nigeria FA. Anyone who thinks anything he has to say is worthwhile deserves what they get.

    Isn't it funny how times have changed? Remember a few years ago there was a big call for him to be next England manager. Now everyone has come to their senses and realised what a odious, thieving charlatan the man is.

    Next up, Pardew.

    Won't be involved in transfers according to their spokesman on 5Live tonight, purely a coaching role. When the F did he last coach anyone? Well known for the last 20 years to never come out if his office.

    I recall Steve Jones saying that when they were at West Ham, Redknapp never came to training

    Billy Bonds told me he was a very nice bloke. Billy loved him for his honesty and integrity and the way he never went behind his back. Rumours than Bill never went to Upton Park for over 20 years because he hated Redknapp are not true. They are really good mates and Bill admires him.
