How about a random assortment of vegetables; some Brocolli,a few carrots, new potatoes, courgettes, sweetcorn, maybe add some fresh fish and a few supremes of chicken with a lobster or too and we all dress up as chefs and waiters so that KM's Restaurant Customers scenario takes on a whole new dimension.

I might bring a few of those frozen Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings and a jar of Bisto as well
Great ingrediants to attract Delia as our next Chairman. After all she is a Bexleyheath girl and must have a soft spot for Charlton. How about it Delia?
We need an overseas owner. Ken Hom would be perfect.
    You wok?
  • Wonder how Tony is getting on with his recovery.
  • I like the idea of throwing the season tickets but it needs a little preparation so that you don't get in trouble. Before the match, use a permanent marker and black out all the details on the card and the barcode or scratch it off, being careful not to damage the card in any way other than aesthetically.
Touch in to get into the ground as usual.
Once inside, snap it in half so that the contactless chip is broken and details cannot be read.
    Throw onto pitch as necessary.

Or.... take the season ticket out of the holder and then just throw the holder onto the pitch :)
With the club being so paranoid ATM I don't want to give them anything that they could use against me. Oyston sued one of his own fans; I wouldn't put it past RD to do something similar.
  • Yeah I agree after thinking about it, I'm going to superglue the useless cards which don't have my name on but are in my wallet onto the turnstile scanners.

Fancy dress could confuse a search and is a traditional end of season thing. I am sure we can make it anti RD and KM as well with face masks and some imagination.

You could get fans to dress up as clowns and wait at Charlton station for Katrien to arrive. Would make a great sight watching her walking down Floyd Road being followed by loads of clowns!
She does not travel by train anymore.

She comes in via Ransom Walk around 2.5 hours before kick-off.
At Forest game she came through Ransom Walk at approx 1.10pm but on this occasion it has to be in and out by helicopter doesn't it?

don't be daft, everyone knows when the new pitch was laid a tunnel was built with the end at City airport.

Me and my cousin have had the same idea. Four of them brought. And some more family friendly inflatable guitars.

Just a reminder that Charlton , the police & the FA will be monitoring these forums and Twitter closely regarding protest ideas - the FA are looking to come down very hard on the club should anything delay the game ....

  • Think outside the box........every day items you carry with you ,go thru your coat pockets have alook many things that could be used and not taken away by a steward.

What are the official rules for Stewards searching customers? Does there need to be OB present?

If the game gets abandoned, and burnley get handed a 3-0 win, and that stopped Brighton going up would be a nice way to repay them for yesterday.

The game would be replayed. The league hand out 3-0 away victories in circumstances where no promotion / relegation issues are decided. I think when Blackpool invaded the pitch last season, it was awarded 3-0 to the away team and not replayed. Brighton would definitely insist on the game being replayed in the instance of an abandonment.

Teixeira was told that he couldn't go on his holiday for week after the season ends shows that the club may have completed some pre-planning (first time for everything). The match would be replayed. It would be difficult to stop sustained low level interruptions during the game or a sustained pitch incursion. Though, I am doubtful that a pitch incursion during the match is likely, after the last protestor was hung out to dry.

Another sustained, entertaining, angry and large protest would get good coverage. It would drive home the point internationally as well as to how badly Duchatelet has wrecked the club and the supporter relationship.
My issue is that in two different games, the outcomes could be completely different. Burnley may turn up raring to go and ready mentally for the last game of the season. The match being abandoned and having to be squeezed in at some other time could have a negative affect on them. I do not think it's fair.

I know many may not share this opinion, but as I said above, think if the roles were reversed, would WE think it was fair for an opponent's fans to get a match abandoned if it was crucial to our chances to win a title or secure promotion? I would suggest that the vast majority of Charlton fans would not be impressed at the prospect.
Without reading the remaining 10 pages on this thread so I don't know what others have said but having been through the mismanagement that we are going through I would imagine that the majority of Charlton fans would be sympathetic & say Go for it lads, do whatever you have to to SAVE your clubs future. Unbelievable that there are some more worried about another clubs promotion than the future of OUR club. There are at times more important things then merely gaining promotion.
  • They seem to have a preference for owners who are not fit and proper as well.

Sort out your own house FA before you come to us or talk about FIFA.
  • Always wondered how easy it would be to throw a bag up to the first flight of stairs in the upper west without getting caught.
One person walks in after being searched, up a flight of stairs, their mate below throws up a suitcase or two full of water balloons and cooked brussel spouts before getting searched and walking through themselves.

Surely, the thing to do is go all Mission Impossible, with the first person secreting a length of nylon rope on their body, then lowering it down to get the contraband" in...

Throwing suitcases, as anyone unfortunate enough to be sitting at a window seat of a plane whilst their luggage is being loaded will confirm, is more difficult than you would imagine (even for "experienced" throwers), and suitcases can end up very much the worse for wear.
  • Burnley posted a £30m profit this season , so forgive me for not feeling sorry about their possible promotion bring ruined

I disagree. I think when it comes down to it, if another club could possibly put our promotion at risk through protest, the vast majority of Charlton fans would not be happy. Besides, the future of Charlton does not hang on this match.
