Work together, where? At Chelsea? Lookman's off to Chelsea? Because they certainly won't be working together in League One for us!Swisdom said:

One is 5'8" speedy and tricky
One is 6'2" and a goal machine
Perhaps they could work together? Perhaps they know each other?1 -

Nil experience in an intimidating league.
Each one would need a wily old head next to them.
Anyway, not going to happen, is it?

Agree but the right striker is rarely an 18 year going on loan for the first team.killerandflash said:
Lookman didn't do too badly or us at 18Scoham said:Just what we need, a young striker with no first team experience.
Where he comes from means little, Eccleston didn't destroy League One, former Barcelona player Ceballos can't even make the bench.
Defoe was massively successful on loan at Bournemouth, at the same age. 18 goals in 29 appearances
It's about getting the right players...0 -
Varney and Maynard didn't seem to do to bad as an inexperienced strike partnership in league 1, if you're good enough then you're good enough whoever is next you you. Like you said though it won't be happening certainly not the two together.Oggy Red said:

Won't get a game in The Championship. League one would be his best bet. Still a long shot though.0

If some Lifers are worried about us targeting people, surely having a hit list is well over the top.3

Don't need him, we have Tammy's younger brother Timmy.

Said on the transfer thread this kid was quality. Scoring for fun for Bristol City. He looked the business in the U20's euros in the summer.
Chelsea have got so many good young players, their youth team have won everything the last few seasons. Conte should be looking to give a some a chance.

He's exploded on to the scene... Really has surprised me and we can only hope his Brother is better0

If his brother is better I think we'll be lucky to see him in our first team!1

Chelsea are relatively weak up front, when you look at their resources elsewhere. No doubt they will solve this by buying 2 world class strikers for £100m next summer, but you can see this kid being a useful impact sub for them next year.0
