Been released by Wolves. I really liked him when he was here. Kind of like a better version of Iwelumo. A move for him.....yes or no?

I'd rather we have back Iain Dowie than Todd.0 -
No way0

okay then, i throw another striker's name your way.......stephen elliot......also released by wolves.0

Another no, I'd rather try Andy Cole, especially if we solidify a bit.0

Don't need any of the above mentioned. A gritty energetic midfielder is where the search needs to start.
Boothroyd was an excellent free kick taker but I think Iwelumo would still be more effective over 90+ minutes, Elliot is past it too0 -
Boothroyd has been released by Wolves for a reason if he was going to be worthwhile for us he would not have been released by a club where he has seriously underperformed at. A bit like when he left us - I see him as a central midfield or central defender in League 2 - where he would be class.0

I ain't paying to watch that tosser again.0

at 24 i find that hard to believe (not that i want us to sign him)
check out the wikipedia editing, perhaps it's a good job he's been released!0 -
Bothroyd was so mobile he makes Iwelumo seem like a whippet.
Reasonable 1st touch - but what good is that if he can't keep up with the game?
Another big bloke who can't jump for a ball.
All he's got to offer is a very decent free kick. That's all.
Verdict: No thanks. Try Millwall, Jay.0
