    1) Some small scissors with decent blades
    2) A mirror
    3) Good light
    4) A steady hand
    .... will do the job.

I remember buying a beard trimmer that had a nose hair attachment, curiosity got the better of me and I figured I'd give it a go.. I didn't need too, but it's new gadget syndrome right?

Well, the old wife's tail about trimming hair making it grow stronger is sadly not an old wife's tail.. And at that ripe old age of 23 I soon discovered the need to groom my nose hair like a pensioner.

Eventually I changed beard trimmers and no longer had the attachment for trimming nose hair. I figured that if trimming it would make it grow stronger, maybe plucking it out with some tweezers would be a better shout and prevent it regrowing quite as strongly?

Unfortunately I made a new discovery: plucking nasal hair makes you want to sneeze... Badly. I resisted the urge at first, but finally it overcame me. I sneezed and ended up cutting the inside of my nose with the tweezers, blood slowly dropped out on to the sink below.

And that's how I found myself needing to trim my nose hair in my early 20s.

Waxing is the way forward. About 4 quid a nostril

Genuinely, is this a thing?! Like a plug of wax up the nose? Sounds bloody painful.

Could do , I've found a combination of use of fingers and eyebrow tweezers works best.

Have other electric trimmers but Havant found to use them up my hooter yet.

Burn them off with a lighter then apply Vaseline, or nip into your local nail bar/salon to have it treated professionally

  • Women have childbirth, and men have nasal hairs to contend with. Both are of equal rating on the pain scale. Sometimes one has just got to man up and deal with it - sadly, there is not a painless option.

Singeing is fine but if your nasal hair is waxed it's ripped out. This leaves a little open wound for all those nasties that are sucked up your hooter to infect.
