With the Champions league final boasting two English Teams for the first time, I thought I’d throw a quick bit of trivia your way.

Amazingly, only 13 English players have played in a Champions league final. Can you name them???

This does not include the old Europeon Cup

BFR, he said Champions League not European Cup. If it was you could add plently of the Man U, Leeds, Liverpool, Villa and Forest teams.

    Next question.

Name the British players that have played in a European cup/champions league final for a non-British club

    Question.

If man u or spuds win the Europa Cup, winners get CL spot next year.
If chelski win CL, as holders, automatic qualification.

So, would it only be the top 2 in t'premier league, or, would England have 6 reprentatives ?

If they don't qualify from the league, then they don't affect the top 4. England would have 6 representatives.

Spain had 5 representatives this season

I think Spain had five one season recently (but I may be wrong). If it is limited to four, you can just see that if Chelsea win the Champions League, and Man Utd the Europa Cup, then Man City and Arsenal will qualify as the top two in the EPL, meaning Spurs miss out on a Champs league spot once more!!!

When Chelsea won it last time didn't Spurs (who came fourth) not get a place because of it?

Maximum was raised from 4 to 5.
If the winners of the Champions League & Europa League are both from the Premier League and both finish outside top 4 then 4th place would miss out.
