It's not been that bad a year for me...

    I have so far
    - made some money for charity
    - watched the nation take on a serious referendum and make a choice despite the bickering between the campaigners of In and Out.
    - Obliterated in 6 months my running total of the entire last year.
    - found out the date my brother's baby is due (last week and being induced today)
    - found out my best mate is having a baby, having gone through some very dark times in recent years his life is taking a massively positive turn.
    - found out that I can share my own dark times in an effort to help others going through theirs, being available to talk to and help others in similar situations.
    - Avoided any major injuries for over 6 months (touch wood!)
    - Passed my probation in a job I enjoy
    - Enrolling on to a course to take my Level 3 in personal training, so I can take that back up the hobby of helping others get fit again...

2016 has only been negative in 3 things for me so far:
    1. Charlton Relegated
    2. England Flop (happens every 2 years)
    3. Meire and Duchatelet remain

at least no.3 can still change in the next 6 months.

Good way to look at it @Dazzler21

    So far for me 2016...
    - Getting married in just over a month
    - Found out that I'm going to be a Godfather once again as my best mate is having their third baby
    - Passed my Probation at my new job which I'm really happy at.
    - Also avoided any major injuries
    - Have made improvements to my Front / Back Garden and prior to doing it was never a Gardener

To be honest I dont allow RD / KM to have any negative impact on my life so I ignore them... Charlton being relegated is annoying yet we could now be one of the best teams in the League so hopefully we'll win more games whilst England going out is just normal so meh.

Added another two  forgot about those. RD and Meire don't have any baring on my actual life. Just on footballing matters, which IMO aren't real life anyway!

Based on some of the posts on the match thread last night I reckon he was posting on that thread as he was speaking.

Really? Given his adroit use of the Jack Kerouc stream of consciousness swearing technique I would say Leroy.....but then again he doesn't look like he has been smashing any PBs on cycling trips to the Alps lately.

What was right with Brexit? Pound dropping, shares obliterated and costs rising. Yep shit year so far.

    Yep, awful few days.
  • I wondered why we didn't see much of Rooney last night. He was on the terraces in front of our friend.
