    Utterly terrible. Callous murder that is designed to maximise both damage to civil society (including the economy) and to encourage a reaction that will draw the disaffected into the ranks of the extremists.

  • Out here in Dalaman at the moment holidaying in Ovacik. All the locals are visibly upset about what happened last night, both at the loss of life and what it's doing to their country. Feel sorry for them as numbers are down as it is and they are all struggling their arses off.
    Flying back on Friday from Dalaman, I'm expecting the security to be extra tight.
    Thoughts are with those in Istanbul.
