Everybody in the United Kingdom is shocked and very saddened at the earthquake disaster which has devastated your country. There are many people here who wish to donate to the disaster fund and there are so many different ways to do this. We know this will take a lot of money to put right.
There are many teams of rescuers working hard to help all those affected and we hope and pray all these people will soon be able to resume their normal lives, although we know this is going to take a long time.

Mrs McMoist was in tears last night watching the 10 o'clock news with those kiddies that have been orphaned. One was saying that if his aunt and uncle didn't want him then he'd have to make his own arrangements for somewhere else to live. He was only 11...Heartbreaking. Mrs McMoist wanted to adopt him.0
