Is it true they're doing this at the behest of her? Absolutely amazed that she feels able to dictate to other clubs like this.

Does anyone know how many bags you're allowed to take? If I turn up with my weekly food shop, a suitcase, 2 rucksacks and maybe even a bum bag will they all get a good rummaging? Do I have to put liquids in a see through bag? Will they pay for replacements if they bruise my plums?3

Dulwich used to turn a blind eye to people bringing cans in, but when crowds ballooned people started taking the piss - even taking in boxes of 24 Stellas from Sainsbury's next door. They're also trying to negotiate with Southwark Council about getting an outdoor bar set up; so they're trying to keep their noses clean and have banned people from bringing in their own booze.
The downside, though, is that Dulwich's bar set-up isn't very good; they struggled badly with a crowd of 600 against a Norwich XI on Tuesday. They used the poor Charlton attendance from last season as a benchmark, and staffed accordingly...
Hopefully they'll sort it for Tuesday, but yes, expect a quick bag search if you come down.3 -
