I asked Clem and he said the hospitality in the directors' box at Hull is great so he couldn't see why there is a problem.14

It is about time the FA started doing something that actually means SOMETHING about fit and proper ownership of football clubs.

Sounds familiar to what is happening at Charlton0

It doesn't at all. Have they been relegated? Have they been asset stripped? Has there owner constantly lied to the fans? Has their owner only been to one game? Are they part of a network? Are they in league one? Do they have permanent first team goalkeepers? Do they have a woman with no football experience who labels fans racist running the show? Have they openly said they don't care if they win or lose?CAFC_Norfolk said:Sounds familiar to what is happening at Charlton
I know who's shoes i'd rather be in.6 -
Good on them - impressed that they are able to see the bigger picture rather than being sidetracked by promotion.0

Allam is a local businessman that has ploughed millions into the club and got them promoted twice.
There are obviously some issues there, including his weird fixation with renaming them 'Hull Tigers' - but not really any similarities to our situation imo.2 -

It is all going to end in tears I am telling you. When all these foreign owners move on to the next money making scheme and abandon English football nobody will be around to pick up the pieces. Being reported this morning West Brom have just sold to a Chinese owner, this follows on from Wolves last week.0
