    No not really... You'd expect Foley to be on the Right of Midfield seeing that he can also play Right Back so will protect Solly whilst Ricky Holmes is left footed so he wont be going through the middle.

    I'd imagine Lookman not starting is more tactical than anything. Playing two wingers away from home when your two centre mids are slow could mean we get overrun a little. Foley adds that extra protection to the defence.

    Either Lookman is off or they are protecting him from overplaying or from other interest (wishful thinking on the last two). Solid if not exciting 11 but the bench is very lightweight.

    He was off training and playing with England, he's had plenty of preseason. More than our keeper and backline, in terms of trading together!

    No disrespect to the players who are on the Bench, but that is not the sort of depth that will win you a league campaign.

    Not a bad team. Good front two, pretty solid defence. However, the midfield isn't great, looks too slow for a physical and demanding league. You need real legs in there.

    Our bench is very, very young.

    Surprised Lookman isn't starting.

    Evening all from Phuket, and all the best to RM. Sorry to hear your ticker's still playing up.

    We've had some young benches but there's normally been one or two oldies amongst the kids. Not this one!

    Hopefully Lookman's benched for a reason other than he may be off but with these owners who knows? A sniff of a few pounds and that's it.

    So we have the speed of dads army in the middle and daddy day care on the bench but overall the team doesn't look too bad. Just need about four more and some of the injured healing quicker than expected. Here's to a season of joy. Coyr
