Came to us from Leicester City I seem to recall. Always remember him alongside Colin Appleton, although I'm not sure how often they played together.

Crew cutted veteran centre half from Leicester who was past his best when he came to us but did a job for a season or two. As said above played alongside the enormous eared Colin Appleton who also came to us from Leicester.
