    I hope we score twice.

    That said I can already imagine reading the Slade interview 'Well we had a few extra games under our belt so we decided to change it up a bit and unfortunately we were doing well until they got lucky. Then away from home well you know how hard it can be to create sometimes.

    The lads are disappointed to lose but at least we can now focus on the league and when we get in the remaining half a player before the end of August that I wanted, we should still be in with a good shout there.

    Now that the premiership teams are starting to finalise their plans we should be able to pick up a bargain or two from league two in the January window.

    Team spirit couldn't be better and I've asked Roger Johnson to return his copy of the rules and regulations I gave him about fines and that because it isn't worth the paper we printed it on.

    Look forward to seeing you all for the first home game of the season against what will be a tricky side in the cobblers.
