Nothing personal but he's a crap manager, no previous real success, took the job knowing what state the club were in just to pick up a pay cheque and bag himself a 3 year deal.

He'll be gone by October. Hopefully....

    To be replaced with......

    The whole thing is f*****!

So recently we have had an escapologist who was the mutts nuts in a laundry basket, we've now got Russell Slade's novelty plate act, what's next? A bloke with a dog that can dance the bolero with him?
It's turning into Charlton's Got Talent ( the opening rounds where they wheel out poor misguided no hopers for the audience to snigger over )

That's a good point - but really it's the same point that existed before RS took the job. As I have said before ANY manager including the likes of SCP, AC, Jose, Fergie etc. ANY manager who is prepared to manage whilst under the current ownership is NOT taking the job on for the right reasons and for me, that means they will not get my support until they are delivering results week in week out.

What I would really like to see is RS have the balls to resign and publicly speak out as to why he has resigned and for no other manager to take the job on, so that RD and KM realise that no one wants to work for them. Perhaps then, the FA may look into exactly what is going wrong when a club has no manager......of course, that will never really happen because another network clone would just be shipped in.

What would the FA be looking into exactly ? It's not against football rules to run a club badly, and even if it was football in this country isn't franchise based like American sports - a dodgy chairman can't be compelled to sell his club (save in very, very specific circumstances). Blackpool have been treated much worse by their owner and there isn't a hint of the FA looking into what's going on there.

I think the more damage that is done to English clubs by dodgy owners, the more pressure will mount on the FA to look into the conduct of those running the clubs. Dont get wrong, I agree with you, largely nothing will happen, but I think the FA may consider some type of review even if it's just to prevent the same happening to other clubs.

His gonna look a massive tit when he realises they won't sign the players he wants. Unless they are freebies or out of contract injury prone players.

I think we will sign the players he wants, even spending money, but expect Tex, Fox, Lookman and Bauer to go. Income from fees will far outweigh expenditure, wage budget will be slashed. Whether the squad we are left with will be good enough for promotion only time will tell.
Relegation if your post becomes correct.
Would be brilliant for completing the 92 though.
Think this is the only positive of being a Charlton fan these days

If I landed a job at nasa as a rocket designer or mcclaren as a formula one engineer I would work my bollocks off and want to succeed more than anyone else.

In fact I would be the hardest working keenest sod that ever did those jobs.

I would have to be as I would be entirely clueless and make mistake after mistake and monumental fuck up after monumental fuck up on pretty much a daily basis until I inadvertently dragged those organisations to the ground.

Plucky attitude and hard work does not qualify you for success. Give me a qualified and component ceo who makes it look effortless over this wally any day.

I'd give this two likes if I could.

(Remind me never to go on a mode of transport you've had anything to do with),

FFS stop the whingeing on here. We had our protests and we got changes now get behind the team. Duchebag has said he is not selling. Liar Liar will always be here so long as Duchebag owns the club. So get used to it.

Are you Homer Simpson in disguise?

'Charlton's Got Talent' is the one thing that they could never call it

You'd be a barrel of laughs in Syria or North Korea. "Stop whinging and get used to it" ...

If the FA decided to get involved, the first thing they would do is ask for advice from their EFL representatives. What is wrong with that?

  • Honesty is not always the best policy when speaking about your boss. Or so I was told before I voluntarily left the corporate world.

I think there is a saying that roughly goes
"I would rather spend 15 minutes on my feet, than my life on my knees".
I have always took the feet option.
I may have got on better in life, but those who shunned me earlier, now respect me more.
  • Mogodon we are talking football here you idiot. What the f*** has Syria and Iraq got to do with anything.
  • Sorry North Korea!!!!!!!
