    I hope these tumours are dealt with easily and removed as quickly as possible with minimum ill effect.

    (Same goes for the things in Richard's stomach, too...)

    Wish him a speedy recovery, met him on a few occasions and always found him a decent human being. As a elderly supporter under his regime I believe we had the best time ever, even through personnel tragedy he maintained his commitment to the club.

    He someone who is worse off financially as he stuck his own money in to keep us going lots of times. We shouldn't forget that. Get well soon

    Good luck to Richard , OK the last years ain't been great for him , but he was here 25 years which needs applauding hopefully see him back among the fans enjoying better times , without the current regime .

    get well soon Richard, as mentioned done a huge amount of good for Charlton over the past 25 years, I suspect he wishes he could wipe away the last few.

    Unconditional best wishes from me. What Richard Murray did for Charlton Athletic all those years ago was monumental. I also found him to be approachable and open on the couple of times I met him.
