Port Vale away(18/10/16) advanced purchase train tickets
There is a 13.46 out and a 10.28 coming back, both at £9 singles before any railcard discounts. Outside of these trains there are other tickets at £16 and £20 each way.
The station is about three miles away, unless you want to go to a station called Longport but only offers an hourly service, this takes 5 minutes.
Special thanks to the apologist that is EssexAl for making me aware of these tickets!

I reckon you should buy every available ticket Elfsbourg. That way when we are in the middle of our 25 game winning streak you can bang them out at double bubble to all the glory hunters. Quids in.

Gutted this is midweek - got loads of Vale mates through following England and was hoping for a night out on a Sat. Might drive up and back but won't be the same.0

Doing this. Stay over in Stoke and then early train up to Glasgow via Crewe to watch Celtic in champions league,got all 3 trains for just £25.50.0
