Does anyone know what the score is with Faye? Is he definitely contracted to us for another season? Personally i think the police would ban us from playing the useless waster for fear of provoking a riot and it's a bit much to ask another club to fall for his charms so is he just going to hang around the training ground like a bad smell? Come on someone tell me i've got this wrong and he's already history.

If he rolled his sleeves up and upped his game could surprise us but I doubt it. Couldn't afford his wages now i suppose. If only he could get his pompey form back, I'm sure theres a good player in there somewhere!!! Lets release him, surely someone will have him on a free?

Before the Police got involved there would be Trading Standards who would do him for unfit for purpose.

on a serious note, he did do a job for a couple of games at centre back, maybe there is a role for him there... clutching at straws.

He's got one more year on his contract so we'll have to see.

I agree that he did a decent job in a few games especially against Bolton at home.

The last of Mr Dowie's many excellent investments if I'm not mistaken.

He'll go to anyone that will take him.

I suspect it may be abroad.

If you saw him come on as a sub for Rangers away at Celtic then you certainly wouldn't be saying that. Admittedly it was his first appearance for months but he was totally and utterly hopeless.
  • Curiously despite all the stick he gets on this site, when he played in defence he was MOTM on several occasions and argueably our best defender whenever he played there. Certainly better than those who lined up in the middle last year.
