    Rudd: 7. Fine keeper.
    Solly: 8. Did really well in both positions. But he is a terrific right back, let's just keep him there. MoM.
    Fox: 6.5. Steady.
    Konsa: 7. What a player we have in the making.
    Pearce: 6.5 Steady.
    Foley: 6. This is our weak area. Foley did ok, but we need something different in midfield. Hopefully RS is on it.
    Crofts: 4. He had a poor game. Needlessly gave Bolton 2 corners in the first half.

    Holmes: 6. They doubled up on him, kicked and hacked him, but he showed what he can do on occasion. His corners were crap.
    Magennis: 6. Tried, but Bolton matched his physicality. Should have got the header on target in the first half.
    Ajose: 4. Poor game. Not writing him off of course, but he has to do a lot better.
    Bauer: 7. Great to see him back.
    Lookman: 7.5. I probably would have given him a lower mark because he was overdoing it and making some wrong decisions, but up he pops with that excellent goal.

    I don't think Solly really cuts it in Midfield good to see Bauer back still think we will need strengthening in midfield.

    Rudd: 6 No chance with the goal. Little opportunity otherwise to shine or disappoint

    Solly: 8 Worth his weight in gold. Injuries force a move to midfield and he plays as if he's spent his whole career there. Far more animated in geeing up the others too than in previous seasons.

    Fox: 7 Solid

    Konsa: 6.5 Maybe slightly at fault for the goal but as an inexperienced player forced out of position through injuries I'll allow him that.

    Pearce: 6 Tries but does have a tendency to lump it straight to the opposition when clearing thus inviting yet more pressure.

    Foley: 6.5 I've wondered what he brings to the party so decided to spend a few minutes watching him closely and concluded that his best work is done off the ball either covering others or giving an option. Not suggesting he is a world beater but now understand his inclusion better.

    Crofts: 7 Complimented Solly and put in a real shift. His qualities are not always obvious, like Foley, but he did get hold of a couple of shots that defenders blocked suggesting that the attacking threat that got him 10 goals in the Championship with Gillingham one season are still there somewhere.

    Jackson n/a Hope and pray his departure was precautionary more than anything else.

    Holmes: 7.5 Ran himself into the ground on a sizzling hot day and always offered a threat.

    Magennis: 7 Put a shift in but didn't quite happen for him.

    Ajose: 6.5 Little opportunity but looked for work and tried to support the midfield and offer an outlet when he could.

    Bauer: 6 Need to remember how long he has been out. Tough to come back in after such a long break and immediately look as good as he was pre injury. Might mean we keep him a bit longer so not all bad!

    Lookman: 7.5 Game changer. Just hope that wasn't his last appearance for Charlton.

    Thought with a bit more guile and pace in midfield could be a decent side. First match of the season tried to continue my boycott but missed it too much. Took my Grandchildren as usual and they were glad to be back.
