iPad photo folder advice

I've got an iPad for work but it's now full up with photos most of which are separated into folders depending on the site they were taken.
Is there a way to download these onto my Windows laptop and still have them showing in those folders?
Can't seem to sort it .

If you view them on the iCloud on your Windows laptop, they should be in the same folders0

I airdrop mine onto a Mac, but I don't know what to do from there. Probably not much really, I'll shut up.............
