Turned down West Brom's contract and now set to join Fulham.

Strange choice.

    Good signing for Fulham. Hodgson will get them away from the drop zone next season.

    I guess it depends on what contract he was offered. Presumably Fulham have offered what he wants/is happy with, while West Brom realising that their chances of a swift return to the Championship is likely probably put a couple of clauses in there reducing his wages in the event of relegation. I'd assume that there were no other serious offers from Prem clubs either.

    Middlesborough were in for Gera but pulled out earlier in the week, presumably they have spotted a better player somewhere. Got to one of the best bosmans in a while. Why he went there, who knows, theres only so many hampers that one can eat and I wonder if he'll be turning on the harrods christmas lights.

    The new challenge for Tony Mowbray, finding another player with as good a name as Zoltan!
