One of the things I like about Rudd is how vocal he is at times, hopefully it's encouragement to an under pressure back four.1

Good luck tonight.
After the embarrassment of Henderson/JBG turning up after 5 straight defeats and the Mel Baroni car crash evening, i think it will go fine as long as there is no mention of football.
Plus can someone tell Declan Rudd to stay inside the net at all times on Saturday for health and safety reasons. Also for Lee Novak to keep running so he's not an easy target for the missile throwers.4 -

Rudd has an estuary rather than Norfolk accent.
Novak a Geordie accent.
Both said they asked around about CAFC and Slade and got lots of positive feedback.
Both said very good group, good atmosphere, like Nugent and Slade. RS not too nice and has given out some right bollocking.0 -

What I can remember so far
Novak and Rudd nice guys. Novak is a softly spoken geordie so difficult for me to understand. Has worked his way up from non league, Gretna, Gateshead, Huddersfield .. left as Powell arrived ...Birmingham. Rudd been with Norwich since he was 8. Had loan spell with Preston, had 10 games in the Premiership last season. Won at Old Trafford. Rudd spoke to Crofts before joining Charlton, but jumped at the chance after talking to Slade. Both were persuaded by Slade to join but spoke to other players about him and got positive feedback.
Both have similar under 1 year old child. Club have found them both accommodation. Rudd stayed in hotel for two months before moving into accommodation, Novak moved straight into home. Both live in the Bromley area.
Manager told Rudd he was not in his plans and Rudd is fed up over not playing, so another reason to join on loan. Thinks he will probably join a new club next season .. leaving Norwich. Would be happy to join Charlton.
Players are unhappy with results, clubs come to The Valley and it's a big game for them and they raise their game. Was Wimbledon keepers first game of the season, he won't play like that again. Did not really give a reason why it was not working out.. talked about number of new players and Slade coming in late .. Powell was planning promotion campaign from March ... Slade was not here till June. Felt we had the right players, good team spirit .. tge best they had experienced. Need things to go their way. Hopefully starting Saturday.
Were aware that fans and owners in dispute but did not allow it to distract them. Novak experienced similar at Birmingham.
Asked about new tunnel decor they were positive "Better than white walls"
Did not recognise that we were playing defensively, teams come around us. 4 3 3 not 4 5 1.
Full of praise for Konsa and Lookman, need to get experience, will struggle to keep hold of them this season.
Was asked about Johnstone and Checkatrade incidents, did not really comment.
Rudd is Norwich supporter, but difficult to support team you play for, so also supports Spurs, his step dad's team.
Rudd watches Ipad before games around 1.30 to study penalty takers.
Ricky may take any penalty on Saturday, Novak has taken a lot if penalties and only missed two, there is no a designated penalty taker at the moment.33
