he ref'ed a televised game last weekend & made a few errors if I recall - commentators said he should have sent a player off but didn't even card him.

Deadman's one of the worst. Did you see him on Sunday, Oxford v Wimbledon ?

Oxford were denied a blatant penalty to equalise and then he let's a reckless challenge go by Dean Parrett of AFC and they score 10 secs later. So instead of it being 1-1, they are 0-2 down.

  • He reffed our live game against boro last year (i think) , he handled it very well in tough circumstances .... a protest ref specialist

Ok, I've changed my mind. We're 9 games unbeaten with Deadman in charge.
We always win at home and even beat Boro in the protest game last season.

We haven't lost since January 09, 4-1 at Sheff W.

Lump on us to win on Saturday & he often red cards an oppo player against us as well.

Only question about the ref is, at which point does he shit himself and call it all off?

could've been worse (not much admittedly), it could've been Stroud.
  • The refs have been fine this season, I can't think of any matches where it's the ref who's cost of the points, where we've been hard done by

There have been a few "dubious" decisions like the Oldham game where Ricky Holmes was clearly kicked twice when he was down on the Ground which didnt even result in a yellow card or talking to from the Referee but then there always are.

But no nothing thats actually cost us points

    Any complaints....?

Thought he had an excellent game, same as every other time I've seen him take our games.
Got one throw-in wrong though, so I suppose that makes him a shit ref.

Yes, completely forgot we'd had this discussion, usually means he did a decent job.

Totally agree, I thought he was fair to both sides, tried to keep the game flowing and took control of the situation on the field when the Pigs landed.

Although I do remember one incident in the first half when Cov fans gave ironic cheers when he gave them a free-kick, so maybe he wasn't so clever for them?
