Also the Aussie Keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer signs his first professional deal.

Not sure about only a three month deal for RHF but I guess that means he can play in official games not just U23s

Next one off the production line?

Of perhaps we felt we were getting light on double-barrelled surnames

Hope for his sake he hasn't signed an appearance bonus contract.

The Valley: A place where customers can mingle* and enjoy watching some Premiership Stars** of the future.

    * Vetting procedure applies. Offer not available to supporters of Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Burnley FC and Coventry City FC.
** 'Premiership' means playing for a club other than Charlton Athletic.

Can't understand anyone with a double barrelled surname ;)

Bound to have been 1920s and 1930s sports car/aircraft manufacturers...

    Too long for cheese
  • Can't see the point of offering H-F a 3 month deal. It's hardly a vote of confidence in him, and it's not as if we're short of young strikers to sit on the bench at the moment.

He's looked good when I've seen him. Would've given him until the end of the season. 3 months seems pointless.
  • i was at the training ground a few years ago and Andy Petterson was there with a young goalkeeper who was here for a trial. It must have been the same guy. good luck to him.

The Belgians are just trying to boost shirt lettering sales, youve got to watch them!.

Maybe the length of the deal is to invite the player to focus 100% and to prove he is good enough, and possibly also prepared to make some changes to his personal approach to being a footballer.
A trial period in other words, but with financial support.

Reeco says on instagram and twitter that he's delighted to have signed a new deal but doesn't say for how long

We signed the Aussie keeper up. Surely we have sold to the Aussies then?

The Aussie Goalkeeper is Ashley Maynard-Brewer... Hackett-Fairchild is a Striker.

So confused with all the double barrelled names these days - throw in Karlan Ahearne-Grant and Roger Fucking-Johnson and we could have a ridiculously long team sheet

best bet is to stretch a banner reading Ashley Maynard-Brewer across the goal .. be even better if he has a couple more fore/Christian names .. would need very precise and accurate shooting to get around a handle like that

    Wide, rather than long?
