Apple Day, October 21st

Today is both Trafalgar Day and Apple Day ....and I am celebrating the apple tree.
If you have a garden with an apple tree within, or know of an apple tree nearby, toast it and wish it good health.
Here’s to thee, old apple tree,
Whence thou mayst bud
And whence thou mayst blow!
And whence thou mayst bear apples enow!
Hats full! Caps full!
Bushel—bushel—sacks full,
And my pockets full, too! Huzza!
From an old English Wassail (derived from the phrase Vas heil, meaning Good health)

Thought Apple Day was the day all the fanboys queue up overnight to buy electronics with 2 year old tech and a ridiculously high price tag?2
