I'd probably stick him in ahead of Crofts. At least he would be more mobile.NornIrishAddick said:

Don't be surprised to see the pigs with the Charlton badge logo stuck on them appearing for sale in the club shop next week. Agree that some should have been held back for a second disruption later in the match. Maybe we should do Brussel sprouts next, seasonal and being green will be harder to see once on the pitch so will take longer to clear-not sure about putting these down your pants to conceal etc though.1

I know you jest, but, you see, there's the thing. Rather than just throwing the piggies away - which is what I expect to happen - the club's PR should make a thing about them being donated to a charity shop or something. But they haven't got the guile to think of stuff like this.sarge1g said:Don't be surprised to see the pigs with the Charlton badge logo stuck on them appearing for sale in the club shop next week. @LouisMend
I notice how patient that pig was whilst waiting to be thrown on. Did you notice how patient he was Louis?19 -
Given how many of the pigs were smuggled into the ground, what steps will the club implement to ensure no repetition? Body cavity searches? The pigs are genius as the scope for a variety of small objects is infinite. And agree that a two-prong approach is best next time.0

We've got a select committee going on up in Parliament this morning on 'the governance of football', with Greg Clarke giving evidence. Anyway, we just had a fire alarm in Portcullis House and while outside I was listening in on one of the MP's on the committee discussing the Charlton incident with the pigs - good to hear the committee members being aware of it anyway! Perhaps we'll be mentioned in today's discussion?!13

Can I take the pig out me pants now please!3

If you don't fancy the real thing they don't seem to do sprout stress balls but these are a reasonable approximation.0 -
Surely someone at the club has the gumption to resell the pigs to raise money for the upbeats?0

I'm not sure that body cavity searches and a two-pronged approach are phrases that should be seen together in the same paragraph....mogodon said:Given how many of the pigs were smuggled into the ground, what steps will the club implement to ensure no repetition? Can imagine the staff's reaction in A & E to a patient who has truthfully explained how the injury to a delicate area, from a two-pronged object, came about.mogodon said:Given how many of the pigs were smuggled into the ground, what steps will the club implement to ensure no repetition? 'Sir, everything you tell me will be kept confidential. How did you really sustain your injury? There's no need to be embarrassed we have heard it all before'

Don't know if this has been mentioned on here already, but apparently Guardian football podcast have mentioned that no player from either team attempted to remove a pig from the pitch for two minutes after protest started.
Have only seen one video that lasts 1min but seems to back it up. A brief show of solidarity perhaps?3 -
Let's hope the current incumbents leave before Christmas as turkeys, cranberries and Brussel sprouts would probably be eaten before they got on the pitch.0

Happy 5th Pigiversary 🐖 🐷0

We could throw real ones on the pitch this year as there are so many of them going spare…
