Addicks v's Gillingham match thread 22/10/16

Afternoon folks, off we go again with another 3 points up for grabs. The Addicks make the short trip to Gillingham who are woefully out of form. The question is can we take advantage of that? My guess is that RS will set-up not to lose, hope to nick a goal and then, as usual, in the second half we drop deeper and deeper, strikers are subbed and on will come more defence minded players.
I hope RS changes his approach and plays a more adventurous formation, playing fast one touch football and going for the kill, the travelling support deserves to see a performance and a convincing win.
Sadly I cant see past a draw and another 2 points dropped, pressure piles on RS and he losses his temper again with the fans. I really want to be wrong and I really want to hold my hands up at 5 o'clock and say I got it all wrong as we come away with 3 points and a dazzling performance. So come on RS make me say sorry!!!
I'll bring you team news as soon as I get it, in the meantime COYR's!!!!!

@ElfsborgAddick brought a round.

The bloke who got the half wanted a pint, but the being the tight wad that he is elfs wouldn't go over £20

Both centre halves changed. Patrick Bauer taken ill today. Harry Lennon drops to the bench. Jason Pearce and Ezri Knosa come in1
-
No Patrick Baeur. Texeira on the bench which is a bit of a surprise.3

Tex Lives!4

Bauer is one of a number of players who suffered with a virus this week. The German has not recovered in time for today. #cafc #CAFCLive0

Bauer must be injured then and Pearce replaces him which is nailed on if he's fit as far as Brussel is concerned. Lennon to the bench for Konsa which may be tactical as both Lennon and Pearce are left footers.0
-
Nice to see Teixeira on the bench. Hopefully that will result him being in the centre of defence at some point.0
-
Good to see a gung ho attacking line up.2

Gillingham haven't got hexagonal nets. They need Roland's intervention.1

Tube screws up so despite a run that would impress Bradley Pritchard I miss my planned train and will miss the start of the game...a great start0
